Heavy rainfall triggered flash floods that swept through residents’ homes in Pidie Jaya, Aceh, Indonesia, on November 26, 2025. Victims managed to escape before the water rose nearly to the rooftops.

Twenty-six days later, the floodwaters have receded, but tragically left behind thick, hardened layers of mud covering entire homes across the village. The victims are confused and struggling with how to clean it.

For this reason, they urgently need digging and cleaning tools to remove the sediment so they can live in their homes again. This is why I have stepped forward to raise donations from fellow Bitcoiners.
